Thinking about starting therapy but feeling unsure about what it will be like? That’s completely normal. Opening up takes courage, and my goal is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and at ease. The process is a little different for adults and for kids/teens, so click the button below to learn more about what to expect.
Click the black button below to reach out, and I’ll respond within 1-2 business days. We’ll have a quick chat to see if we’re a good fit, and we’ll find a session time that works for you—flexibility included!
Once you’re scheduled, I’ll email you a link to your client portal to complete a few simple forms before our first appointment. No need to stress—just some basics to help us get started.
When you arrive, take a seat in the welcoming waiting area until I come to greet you. This first session is all about getting to know you—I’ll gather information to understand your story and what’s needed now. No prep work required—just show up as you are.
By the end of our first session, we’ll have a roadmap for your journey, including the types of therapy we might use and how often we’ll meet. Throughout the process, we work together as a team—transparent, open, no hidden agenda. Think of it as the weirdest blind date ever—but one that actually helps you grow.

Depending on your family’s situation, forms may need to be completed by both parents.
When you and your child or arrive, you’re welcome to settle into the waiting area until I come to greet you. In our first session, we’ll begin together, and I’ll invite you to step to the waiting area once your child is feeling comfortable. This session is all about helping your child get to know me, easing into the space, and building a sense of safety from the start.
After a few sessions, I’ll have a clearer understanding of your child’s needs, and we’ll talk together about the frequency and duration of sessions moving forward. Some children take 10 sessions or more to begin opening up—it’s completely normal. My priority is creating a safe, supportive space where your child can explore their feelings at their own pace and begin to find their voice.
